A Rare Case Study: Isolated Cervical Origin of the Right Subclavian Artery

Based on an extensive literature search, our patient is the first case of a cervical origin of the right subclavian artery (CORSA) without any other detectable cardiovascular anomalies or genetic evidence of DiGeorge Syndrome.  Our team of researchers and medical professionals explore this rare case of isolated CORSA, discussing the development and possible genetic basis of this anatomical abnormality, as well as clinical techniques to identify it.
