Skip Metastases: an Unusual Pathological Pathway

This unique case series reports on two patients with isolated recurrence following previous treatment for oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). The study explores the incidence and clinical relevance of “skip metastases” – the discontinuous spread of malignancy – as well as the possible influence of prior treatment on the pathological progression of OSCC.
