2025 Year in Review
This year, we’re celebrating the quiet heroes of every cancer journey—the caregivers. They are the ones scheduling appointments, managing medications, holding hands through recovery and offering strength when it’s hardest to find.
From Intention to Action
At THANC, we believe care for the caregiver is care for the patient. In 2025, that belief moved from intention to action. This was not simply a continuation of the work we began in 2024—it was a scale-up year. We expanded our reach, deepened our programs and began building lasting community initiatives designed to support caregivers with education, connection and empathy.
We hope you feel inspired, because there’s more to come!

Introducing a New Caregiver Hub
This year, THANC began laying the foundation for a new initiative focused entirely on caregivers. Designed to inform, support and affirm those caring for someone with thyroid, head or neck cancer, this collection will bring together trusted educational tools, expert-led insights and meaningful emotional support.
The initiative will be featured on the THANC Guide with caregiver-focused webinars, firsthand stories and a new podcast format—all created to reflect caregivers’ real experiences and remind them they are not alone.

Expanding Hope for Families
The THANC Guide continued to grow as a trusted, go-to resource for families navigating thyroid and head and neck cancer. What began as a focus on content growth and accessibility has evolved into a platform with meaningful national and global reach—serving caregivers, parents, teens and children with information and support tailored to every stage of the cancer journey.
In the past year…
- Dozens of new articles and permanent content updates were added across the Guide.
- Spanish-language content expanded across key sections, advancing true bilingual access.
- Caregiver resources, emotional wellness tools and treatment guides continued to grow.
That growth translated into scale. In 2024, the THANC Guide reached approximately 75,000 monthly visitors during a year focused on expansion and translation. That means more than 900,000 people accessed the Guide in 2025—marking a major leap in reach, visibility and influence.
This shift reflects more than growth. It represents THANC’s move from building resources to delivering large-scale impact for families everywhere.
