Computer-Assisted Dental Rehabilitation After Jaw Reconstruction

After jaw reconstruction, restoring a patient’s ability to comfortably eat and speak is vital to restoring their quality of life. Computer-assisted dental rehabilitation is an innovation that allows doctors to map exactly where to install dental implants before the surgical procedure begins. THANC-affiliated physicians were pioneers in developing these techniques. The results are enhanced surgical accuracy and improved patient outcomes, both functional and cosmetic. Future research will help to even further improve oral cancer patients’ quality of life.
