Reoperation Following Adult Tonsillectomy

Though tonsillectomy remains a common procedure, a majority of the literature focuses on the pediatric population.  The THANC Foundation aims to evaluate the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program’s database for adult tonsillectomy cases in order to assess the incidence of reoperation and to determine whether the patient or the procedural characteristics are associated with added risk.
