Osteoradionecrosis of the Hyoid Bone Complicated by Pharyngocutaneous Fistula

A case report and review of the literature.

Osteoradionecrosis (ORN), bone death due to radiation, is a well-known complication following irradiation of head and neck cancer. While ORN is commonly seen in the jaw, this article reports a case of ORN in the hyoid bone, a U-shaped bone located above the voicebox.
