Jason Clain, MD

Meet Dr. Jason Clain, Harvard-trained surgeon with a passion for facial reconstruction. Discover his journey from THANC researcher to leading plastic surgeon.

Dr. Jason Clain is a Harvard-trained plastic surgeon specializing in both reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. He has a particular interest in facial skin cancer reconstruction and surgical and non-surgical facial aesthetics (facelift, rhinoplasty, eyelid/blepharoplasty surgery).

Beginning his academic career at Tufts University, Dr. Clain graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Economics. He spent the next two years researching the outcomes for patients undergoing reconstruction after head and neck surgery at the THANC Foundation. He attended Medical School at Tufts University School of Medicine, where he graduated with research honors and was awarded the Martin J. Loeb surgical award. He completed residency at Harvard Plastic Surgery, where he served as chief resident in his final year.

Dr. Clain has published over 20 peer-reviewed articles. He has extensive training in multiple methods of complex reconstruction and cutting-edge approaches to aesthetic surgery (rhinoplasty, facelift, eyelid, breast, and body).

In his leisure time, Dr. Clain enjoys sailing, cooking with his wife Alison, and hiking with his yellow lab Teddy and daughter Isabelle
