John discusses the process of losing and mourning a loved one. He encourages people to grieve, but to communicate and lean on others in their lives for support as well.

During the grieving period, other people’s lives will go on while you may feel your mourning will continue for a while. John reminds us the importance of remembering the individual who has passed away, and feeling gratitude for the time you were able to spend with them.

We interviewed John in December of 2012. His strength and positive attitude towards grieving and loss provides hope for others who are experiencing the loss of a loved one.
