Salmaan grew up in San Jose, CA and graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Health Policy. At USC, Salmaan investigated early detection of urothelial carcinomas with the Convergent Science Institute in Cancer, volunteered with LA’s unhoused population, and was involved with mentorship and undergraduate teaching. In his free time, Salmaan enjoys playing soccer, surfing, and exploring new food scenes. After his time at THANC, Salmaan looks forward to pursuing a career as a physician.
