At 11 years old, Megan was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma of the mandible and had to undergo chemotherapy and extensive surgical intervention. Her experience inspired her to pursue a career in nursing. Megan is currently a pediatric nurse manager. Megan is excited to serve on the THANC junior board and to offer her unique insight as both a cancer survivor and healthcare professional.
In her free time, Megan enjoys concerts and traveling, but her favorite thing is spending time with her nieces and nephews.
