Daniel Rosenfield

From co-founding a multigenerational real estate firm to shaping future leaders, Daniel Rosenfield brings long-range vision to our board.

Daniel Rosenfield is a real estate entrepreneur and investor who co-founded Rothenberg-Rosenfield, Inc. in 1981 and has overseen its retail and industrial operations for decades, expanding the firm beyond multifamily housing into a wide range of real estate assets. Under his leadership, the company has grown into a multigenerational enterprise, with family member Joshua Rosenfield joining in 2008 to help sustain and expand its portfolio.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Finance) from The Ohio State University in 1973 and a Master of Arts in Business Administration with specializations in finance, real estate, and law from Ohio State in 1974; an academic foundation that supported his early work in securities regulation and later success in private investment.

Rosenfield remains deeply engaged with his alma mater. He established the Rosenfield Family Prize for Excellence in Security Analysis in 2003; founded the Rosenfield Leaders’ Summit in 2019, a personal and team transformative program designed to develop future financial professionals; and leaders and more recently created the Rosenfield Family Student Athlete Scholarship Fund in partnership with the Fisher College of Business to support high-achieving student athletes.

Outside of his professional and philanthropic commitments, he maintains an active lifestyle as an accomplished martial artist and outdoor enthusiast who enjoys skiing, mountain climbing, cycling, golf and world travel.
