Three-Staged Laryngeal Reconstruction

Despite its impact on the patient quality of life, a total laryngectomy remains the definitive approach for recurrent and persistent glottic cancer following failed radiation therapy. Using a single-surgeon retrospective case series, THANC aims to describe a three-stage method of laryngeal reconstruction to address unique challenges of operating on radiation recurrent or persistent cancer.
