Michael and I are participating with team THANC to raise funds and awareness to support those struggling with a diagnosis of head and neck or thyroid cancer.
Three days after the Spooky 5k I will celebrate ten years of serving as the Executive Director of THANC. I am proud to have been given the opportunity to work alongside Mark Urken, MD for the past 22 years in one capacity or another. On this path, I have been blessed to have met so very many inspirational individuals who have generously shared their cancer journey to provide hope to those newly diagnosed. Michael has also embraced the work that we do – and participates in as many events as his schedule will allow.
