Michelle was born in Boulder, CO but grew up in Daejeon, South Korea for most of her life. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in neuroscience and minors in chemistry and bioethics. At Penn, Michelle was primarily involved in an autism treatment study as a research assistant, volunteering at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and serving in a leadership position in the Phi Delta Epsilon medical fraternity. In her free time, she enjoys playing her clarinet, being active, and searching for the best coffee shops in the area. After her time at THANC, Michelle is excited to attend medical school and pursue her career as a physician.
